WHAT WE DO & HOW IT WORKS
The Pointe is a Performing Arts Center combined with
an All-Star Pom Program. This allows dancers to be
involved in both the art of dance while also having
the opportunity to be a part of the sport of pom. We
offer classes that are technique based and classes
that are focused on both technique and competition.
TECHINQUE CLASSES
Our technique based classes are exactly that. Leaps
and turns, pure technique, ballet technique, and trick
class.
RECITAL CLASSES
Our other classes are focused on the basics. These
are for our younger crowd and beginners. These
classes focus their dance training on technique and
our end of the year dance recital. Our recital is in
late May or early June each year. These classes are
showcased in our show along with our Company and
All-Star Members.
COMPANY CLASSES
Our Company program is for those interested in a
competitive atmosphere and extreme technique.
Ballet being first priority, these dancers are required
to take a minimum of three hours of class per week.
They compete at both the regional and national level
throughout the year. All members are selected
through an audition process each year in May.
ALL-STAR CLASSES
Our All-Star Pom program is for dancers interested in
the sport of pom and being a part of a team. These
dancers are required to attend three hours of class
per week. Our All-Stars compete on both the regional
and national level and attend pom camp in the
summer.

| COMMITMENT LEVELS I ATTEND CLASSES AND PARTICIPATE IN TECHNIQUE BASED CLASSES ONLY II ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE IN TECHNIQUE AND RECITAL BASED CLASSES ONLY III PARTICIPATE AS A MEMBER OF THE COMPANY AND/OR ALL-STAR PROGRAM. REQUIRED TO TAKE A MINIMUM OF THREE HOURS OF CLASS PER WEEK. THESE MEMBERS ARE TO COMPETE AND PERFORM NUMBEROUS TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR (BY AUDITION & PERMISSION ONLY!) IV PARTICIPATE AS A MEMBER OF THE COMPANY TOO. REQUIRED TO TAKE SIX OR MORE HOURS OF CLASS PER WEEK. THESE MEMBERS ARE TO COMPETE AND PERFORM NUMEROUS TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THESE MEMBERS ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN THE TITLE DIVISIONS IN COMPETITION AND FOR DANCE MASTERS OF AMERICA (BY AUDITION & PERMISSION ONLY!) |
